How Bewilder Began

Founder Yvonne Leow didn’t grow up outdoorsy. She adored cities – pursuing a career in journalism, immersing herself in music, food, and stories. In her late twenties, she fell in love with nature, and once she did, everything changed.

From newsrooms to nature

Yvonne traded deadlines for trailheads. She backpacked. Learned how to ski. Climbed big peaks. In 2020, she summited Aconcagua — and came home with a mission: To help people connect with nature.

Bewilder Beasts are born

In 2023, Bewilder produced pop-up campgrounds in Los Angeles. Parents noticed. Schools called. Bezzi the Yeti and her crew of Bewilder Beasts came to life —bringing the joy of nature to students across the city.

Building Bewilder Club
We’re now building a world where busy families can explore more, worry less, and raise confident young adventurers. Real nature lessons. Playful storytelling. Adventures that spark wonder — anywhere.
